Venture Outdoors is organizing an 8-day bike tour from Washington DC to Pittsburgh PA on September 27th  October 4th. The ride is limited to 250 people, so get the word out before the final spot is filled. This tour will be once in a life time opportunity to be a part of a bike tour that ends with a huge party at Point State Park in Downtown Pittsburgh. The tour will cater to recreational riders who are there for the beautiful sights and social atmosphere. We are also having a relay race that is perfect for the more competitive riders, you may not get a chance to see the beautiful sights but you'll get one heck of a work out. If you're interested, great, if not, you must know someone who is. By simply posting an ad on your website or by just telling someone you know, you give them the opportunity to participate in an awesome event.

The Youghiogheny River Sojourn is a 4-day excursion scheduled July 17-20 on Pennsylvania's 2008 River of the Year.

The Youghiogheny River, known simply as the Yough or "Yawk," was selected as River of the Year by the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources because it has remarkable scenery, its whitewater section is known around the world and it is incredibly rich in history, including a history of mining that created significant environmental degradation from which the river has mostly recovered.
